I'm afflicted with some sort of masochism that directs my eyes beneath nice interweb articles, past the cute little SMS icons and even the protective thicket of links that serve as God's buffer against that circle jerk of ignorance that is the Comments section.
I have no idea why I subject myself to this aggravation. I even invent little games just to help me endure the unnecessary pain of the experience. Like I'll see if today I can find just say, two entries in the first page that don't sound like they were pounded out by bed ridden mental patients or angry drunks on welfare.
In fact everyone should try posting something sometime. Anything at all. Regardless of how innocuous your content, how sterile and unprovocative your words, the mere act of posting triggers in and of itself an immediate and eccentric onslaught of personal abuse, political opportunism, and iffy conspiracy theories.
And to me this is just more evidence that we better get used to the idea of living under one world government some day. Because if you can't speak your peace about Taiwanese trade without denying the OBVIOUS TRUTH that 9/11 was an inside job, then people are just never going to get along on anything.
